Born on June 24, 1982, in Valjevo, Filip Narančić turned his passion for architecture and design into a thriving career. He graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Department of Architecture and Urbanism. During his studies, he launched a pilot project that later evolved into today’s Infinity Design Studio.

The Music of the Chains installation required a comprehensive architectural redesign in order to strengthen its symbolic narrative and improve visitor immersion following its selection as the winning competition proposal.

A detailed redesign strategy was implemented to intensify spatial impact and symbolic clarity:

Enclosed the installation on three sides to evoke psychological confinement

Integrated suspended chains as interactive sound-generating elements

Applied aged concrete panels to represent historical materiality

Introduced engraved wall surfaces referencing African-American music and culture

Designed a central pathway with controlled ceiling height

Applied black mirrored flooring to amplify visual and emotional depth

Optimized acoustic properties to enhance sound resonance

Positioned the installation near the Museum of African American Music in Nashville
