Born on June 24, 1982, in Valjevo, Filip Narančić turned his passion for architecture and design into a thriving career. He graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Department of Architecture and Urbanism. During his studies, he launched a pilot project that later evolved into today’s Infinity Design Studio.

The Music of the Chains project required a detailed architectural redesign and technical development in order to transform the original winning competition proposal into an executable memorial installation.

A comprehensive redesign strategy was implemented to enhance spatial experience and execution feasibility:

Developed detailed floor plans, sections, elevations, and structural documentation

Designed a steel lattice roof system for structural and acoustic support

Applied wall panels with rusted metal and patinated finishes to convey historical symbolism

Integrated interior wall surfaces inscribed with musical genres

Designed a glass floor to reflect fragility and memory

Implemented suspended chains as interactive sound-generating elements
-
Integrated the memorial into a central urban square aligned with pedestrian circulation

Selected materials such as oxidized chains, black stone, and aged textures to reinforce narrative symbolism

Developed spatial connections between the memorial and surrounding civic environment
