Born on June 24, 1982, in Valjevo, Filip Narančić turned his passion for architecture and design into a thriving career. He graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Department of Architecture and Urbanism. During his studies, he launched a pilot project that later evolved into today’s Infinity Design Studio.

The Victory Monument – Red Light to the Freedom project required a conceptual architectural solution that conveys the emotional and historical journey of the Jewish people during WWII.
Key challenges included:

Creating a spatial narrative that represents oppression, suffering, and liberation

Translating historical memory into a symbolic architectural form

Designing a structure that evokes emotional engagement through movement and space

Integrating symbolic elements within a minimalistic architectural language

Utilizing light as both a functional and narrative design component

Solution:
A comprehensive conceptual design approach was implemented to enhance symbolic expression and visitor experience:

Designed a descending and ascending concrete tunnel as a spatial metaphor
-
Developed a partially underground structure to represent historical descent into darkness
-
Applied narrow corridors and high concrete walls to evoke emotional intensity
-
Integrated a red glass ceiling element to symbolize hope and liberation
-
Designed the red light installation to function as both symbolic and navigational guidance
-
Positioned surrounding concrete blocks as memorial markers

Integrated natural light to create contrast between enclosed and open zones
-
Developed angular exterior geometry to reflect resistance and durability

Produced architectural visualizations highlighting light and shadow interaction
Result:
Through the implementation of a conceptual memorial design, the Victory Monument achieved a powerful spatial and emotional narrative.
