Born on June 24, 1982, in Valjevo, Filip Narančić turned his passion for architecture and design into a thriving career. He graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Department of Architecture and Urbanism. During his studies, he launched a pilot project that later evolved into today’s Infinity Design Studio.

The Palace of Meditation required a conceptual architectural solution that supports relaxation, privacy, and spatial harmony within an open-air environment.
Key challenges included:

Creating a calming environment that promotes mental recovery and introspection

Designing an open structure that ensures both privacy and natural ventilation

Establishing spatial hierarchy between enclosed and open meditation zones

Integrating natural materials to enhance acoustic comfort and visual warmth

Maintaining functional safety without compromising aesthetic simplicity

Developing an architectural form that encourages passive social interaction
Solution:
A comprehensive conceptual design approach was implemented to enhance relaxation and usability:

Designed a square base layout with a central circular meditation zone
-
Arranged loungers around the circular core to promote passive interaction
-
Developed a ground level enclosed with plant barriers and wooden panels
-
Designed an upper open platform with a circular ceiling cutout
-
Integrated vegetation, pathways, and meditation areas into the spatial plan

Installed a minimalist staircase as a vertical connector
-
Applied wooden flooring and cladding for acoustic comfort

Designed perforated vertical panels for semi-private ambiance
-
Integrated soft ceiling LED lighting for nighttime usability

Produced 3D visualizations to present ambient night atmosphere

Through the implementation of a fully documented conceptual design, the Palace of Meditation was realized as a functional and tranquil architectural space.
