We analyzed the brewery’s visual identity, competitors, and market trends in the premium beer segment. The goal was to create a design that reflects tradition, authenticity, and exclusivity.

The dominant visual element chosen was the name “2572” in a bold, industrial-style typeface, symbolizing tradition and craftsmanship.

Each beer type was assigned a unique color, allowing for easy recognition on the shelf:

  • Amber – copper tone
  • Lager – golden tone
  • Pale Ale – silver-white tone

A dark, rustic background with subtle textures conveys authenticity and premium quality.

The minimalistic yet impactful front label features only key information – brewery name, beer type, and alcohol percentage – while detailed product information is placed on the back.

Finalization and Technical Adaptation

The labels were optimized for printing on various materials, including matte black bottles, to ensure compatibility with special beer editions. Additionally, space was provided for adding the bottling date, which was one of the client’s requests.

Following the success of the original Brauerei 2572 Packaging Design project, the brewery entrusted us with a new challenge—developing the Visual Identity for its upcoming Alcohol-Free Beer while preserving complete consistency across the existing Craft Beer Portfolio.

The objective was not to create a completely new design language, but to strategically extend the established Brand Identity System into a new product category.

The new label needed to be instantly recognizable as part of the Brauerei 2572 family while clearly communicating its Alcohol-Free positioning and maintaining the premium perception customers already associated with the brand.

Achieving this required the perfect balance between Brand Consistency, Shelf Visibility, Product Differentiation, and long-term scalability.

Design Strategy:

To preserve a unified Packaging Design System, we retained the signature visual elements that define the Brauerei 2572 Brand Identity:
